At Batalha, the customer was already satisfied with the conventional limestone wire they were using. There was no obvious problem to solve and little reason, from their point of view, to change.

First, we checked the conditions.

Diamond Service proposed a test with Black Thunder. Before installing the wire, our technician checked the machine, material and operating conditions to make sure the application was suitable and Black Thunder could express its full potential.

THE RESULT

Almost twice the speed. Same life.

The result surprised the customer: almost twice the cutting speed with essentially the same wire life as the conventional limestone wire. After seeing the difference in production, they never went back to buying traditional limestone wire.
