THE CHALLENGE

The standard sandstone wires were too slow.

The customer in Lleida needed a much faster single wire to increase daily output. Traditional sandstone wires are typically very hard and durable, but in this application they were too slow to reach the production target.

THE DIAMOND SERVICE SOLUTION

A wire developed specifically for this application.

Instead of proposing a standard sandstone wire, Diamond Service developed a dedicated single-wire specification around the customer's machine, material and required cutting speed.

THE RESULT

More than 40% higher daily output.

The new wire allowed the customer to increase daily production by more than 40%, while maintaining the reliability required for industrial sandstone cutting.
